Renault by the side of amateur sport

With a series of sporting events taking place in September throughout Greece, Teoren Motors B. N. Theocharakis continues its support for special events that promote the values of sport and solidarity in the best way possible.

September presents a particularly intense sporting activity with a series of events attracting a large number of participants. After the 30th Olympus Mountain Marathon, Teoren Motors B. N. Theocharakis was present at the 10th Tour of Lake Ioannina, while until the end of the month the Renault Passion for Life team will support events that stand out for their sporting spirit and their strong social character. 

10th Tour of Lake Ioannina (17-18 September)

The Ioannina Lake Tour, which in its 10th anniversary year, was a record-breaking event with 2,200 runners enjoying the wonderful route around Pamvotida. With the support of Zygouras S.A., Official Distributor and Repairer of Renault and Dacia in Ioannina, the runners were accompanied by Renault models, with the new Renault Kadjar setting the pace by taking the place of the precursor with the timekeeper.

Street Relays - Thessaloniki (24 September)

After the summer break, the Street Relays return with the race that will take place next Saturday, September 24th at the beach of Thessaloniki. The Street Relays are a unique opportunity for both experienced athletes and ordinary people to participate in a unique running event that promotes teamwork in the best way. With the motto Passion for Running, Renault is accompanying the Street Relays throughout Greece, supporting an event whose key feature is its charitable nature, with part of the proceeds of the Thessaloniki race being donated to the needs of the "Agios Stylianos" Foundation.

Thessaloniki Cycling Tour (24-25 September)

There is a lot of sporting activity in Thessaloniki, where the 5th International Cycling Weekend will take place alongside the Street Relays. Renault will accompany the cyclists with its models, both in the long-distance endurance race (141km) that will start and finish at Stavros Thessaloniki, and in the Circuit in the city centre that will take place on Sunday morning 25/9.

34th Spartathlon (30 September)

Dacia will be at the side of Yannis Kourkourikis this year too, with a Duster being his valuable companion in the 34th Spartathlon that will start on Friday 30 September from Athens and will finish about 36 hours later in Sparta having covered a total distance of 246km! Yannis Kourkourikis has been a Rowing Champion for the last 30 years with Olympic and World distinctions. Along with his rowing distinctions, his presence in long distance and long distance races is equally impressive.
