With the Avenger, Jeep® has introduced the smallest and first all-electric model in its history, in the form of a B-SUV that immediately stood out. Orders have already exceeded the 100.000 are the unmistakable reward of the buying public, while the number of automotive awards is also impressive. Among them is the title "European Car of the Year".
Intact the original Jeep style characterizes a body that has a length 4,08 m, minimal distance from the ground 20 cm and achieves the perfect balance between dynamic and modern. Its image brings Jeep's strong identity to the fore, while in the cabin practicality is abundant, with storage space reaching 34 lt for small objects and the 380 lt for luggage. Made to make everyday life comfortable and easy, the Jeep Avenger also has high digital technology and rich equipment in all versions.
The digital displays for the instrument panel and the infotainment ensure the information and connectivity that the modern user requires, just as Uconnect services do, giving remote control over selected functions. All Avengers are equipped with, among other things, alloy wheels and the Selec-Terrain driving profile switching program (ECO, NORMAL, SPORT, SAND, MUD, SNOW), which makes the driver's task easier and, especially on dirt, highlights the genuine Jeep character.
The engine range covers every need, starting with the petrol thermal engine version that delivers 100 HP and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The latter's scaling is carefully designed to help combine lively performance with low fuel consumption.
The version e-Hybrid has a mild hybrid system composed of a petrol engine with 100 HP (74 kW) and an electric power 21 kW. The former operates in the Miller thermodynamic cycle and has a variable geometry turbine (VGT), while the latter is integrated in the automatic dual-clutch transmission that has 6 ratios. Thanks to the architecture of the system the Avenger e-Hybrid can start, park and move with up to 30 km/h all-electric, achieving savings that reach the 28% in urban areas compared to the petrol version.
The same hybrid system with the assistance of another electric motor 21 kW for the rear wheels will use the 4xe all-wheel drive version which will be available for orders at the end of 2024, completing the Avenger's options and creating the most complete range in the segment.
The all-electric version delivers 156 HP and powered by a battery of energy capacity 54 kWh, which ensures autonomy 400 km according to WLTP and up to 550 km in the city. It has the ability to charge from the 20% to 80% in just 24 minutes, while covered by a guarantee for 8 years or 160.000 km. All other Avenger mechanical parts are covered by 4 years or 160.000 km, while also applying 4 years of free roadside assistance.
For the petrol version, the price starts from €23.990, for the e-Hybrid from the €26.490, while for the purely electric it is formed at €29.700, including the government subsidy for the "Moving Electric III" programme.
