Jeep and its cars are intertwined with every activity that involves action and new experiences. They could not be absent from events such as the European Windsurfing Championships to be held in Varkiza from 20 to 27 October 2018.
The Open Air feeling of Freedom, which is a timeless part of the DNA of Jeep and its vehicles, has been experienced for a few days by the athletes and the members of the organizing committee of the Techno 293 European Championship, as Jeep offered the brand new Jeep Compass and the Jeep Renegade for the needs of the event's transportation.
The Techno 293 European Championship will use the Jeep Compass 2.0L 170HP 4X4, Jeep Compass 2.0L diesel 140 HP and Jeep Renegade 1.4L 4X4, guaranteeing that competitors, organisers and judges will enjoy a unique Go Anywhere Do Anything experience, wherever they need to move, on tarmac or beach.
The arrivals of the athletes, coaches and their escorts, in the brand new Jeep Compass and Jeep Renegade, will be completed on Saturday 20 October when the opening ceremony will take place with a grand parade and an event that will bring the participating countries closer together, attracting sports fans, residents and visitors to the area.
The championship is officially recognized by the World Sailing Federation (World Sailing), co-organized by the Marine Sports Club of Varis-Varkiza and the Municipality of Varis-Voulas-Vouliagmeni and is under the auspices of the Hellenic Sailing Federation
The Closing Ceremony, with the awarding of the championship medals, will take place on Saturday 27 October.
