The unique design, the distinctive character and the practicality of the new, all-electric FIAT 500 have already secured the model dozens of awards throughout Europe and an impressive commercial career. The main feature of the first all-electric model in FIAT's history is its impressive technological background on multiple levels. This demonstration of technological power was also confirmed at the ROM-E festival in the Italian capital, one of the most important initiatives of its kind in Europe that aims to bring the public closer to the new era of electrified motoring. The all-electric 500, which is the most popular electric model in Italy and Germany, while retaining its 2η position in Greece and the 3η in France, despite its compact size and accessibility, has an impressive technological arsenal, making it the new landmark in urban mobility. At the same time, it is also expanding its presence on the global market, as it is now available in Israel, Japan and Brazil in addition to Europe.
At ROM-E, the public will have the opportunity to experience the technological innovations that the 500 carries and make traveling with an all-electric car easier and more practical, such as:
- Multimedia system Uconnect5, which offers wireless mirroring of two mobile phones, compatibility with 5G networks, Over The Air (OTA) upgrades and remote control of functions via smartphone and the free app.
- Full range of advanced assistance systems driving (ADAS), which offer superior levels of active safety and the ability to drive autonomously at level 2.
- Smart energy management system, with three operating modes (Normal, Range, Sherpa), which with its 42kWh battery ensures a range of up to 460km in urban conditions.
- Integrated charging system 85kW, which on a suitable network enables the 80% to recover the battery charge in just 35 minutes, while 5 minutes is enough to recover 50km of autonomy.
- Advanced architecture making the 500 compatible with future developments such as working with V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) networks and inductive charging applications.
The new all-electric FIAT 500 is offered in three body styles (Hatchback, Cabrio and 3+1), while through the government subsidy program Moving Electric II, its price in Greece is 26,250 euros. The factory warranty of the model is 5 years with a power of up to 200,000km, while the battery has an 8-year coverage for up to 160,000km.
