How the Jeep Avenger differs from the petrol engine

Jeep

With the Avenger, Jeep has managed to adapt its authentic and uncompromising DNA to a truly compact body. Fresh and high-tech, the Avenger has already won over the public and experts alike, expressing its philosophy succinctly in the words "Condensed Freedom!"

Technical characteristics
The thermal version of the Avenger is already available for order and is available exclusively in the Altitude trim level which includes just about everything. It uses a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 100 PS of power and 205 Nm of torque, in conjunction with a 6-speed manual gearbox that ensures an apt combination of performance and economy. With 0-100 km/h acceleration in 10.6 seconds, a top speed of 184 km/h and average fuel consumption of just 5.6 l/100 km, both the everyday and touring needs of the B-SUV crowd are convincingly and economically met.

Drive is transmitted exclusively to the front wheels, effective braking is provided by four disc brakes, while the maximum payload is 500 kg and the towing capacity is 1,200 kg.

Compact and functional
The new Avenger in 4.1 m accommodates all the values of an authentic Jeep. With a unique design that starts with the distinctive grille with 7 vertical stems and continues into a dynamic yet modern body, the Avenger unambiguously declares its origins. Its lines stand out without being provocative while having the ideal dimensions for everyday urban life.

Simple, modern and functional, the cabin has plenty of space for the driver and up to four passengers, while storage space is plentiful at 34 litres. For luggage there is 380 litres in a fully utilitarian shape and easy loading through the 1 m wide opening.

Original Jeep
Like any genuine Jeep, the petrol-engined Avenger has been built with the brand's expertise to withstand hard use. The ground clearance is 20 cm, while careful design and well-placed mechanical parts ensure a 20 cm approach angle.ο, ramp 20ο and escape 35ο. So dirt roads are a pleasant experience and not a headache.

Thanks to its sophisticated systems, the Avenger is a valuable ally for the inexperienced driver: Selec-Terrain® with ECO, NORMAL, SPORT, SAND, MUD and SNOW settings optimises traction on any terrain, while Hill Descent Control takes action on very steep downhill gradients, limiting the car's speed completely automatically.

Top entertainment and safety technology
Equipped with a digital instrument panel and a 10.25" touchscreen for the Uconnect infotainment system, the Avenger's cabin is not only practical but also technologically advanced and modern. Uconnect Services give remote control for key functions, while Over The Air upgrades mean that the system's capabilities will continue to expand.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity makes everyday life easier and safer, as do the driver assistance systems that include road sign and driver fatigue recognition, blind-spot monitoring and even Level 2 Autonomous Driving, among many others.

Cut and sewn for Europe
Positioned at the heart of one of Europe's most popular segments, the Avenger is a B-SUV totally focused on the old continent. This is proven on the one hand by the more than 40,000 orders for the all-electric version that debuted in October 2022, and on the other hand by the European Car of the Year award for 2023, which is the most important among many more.
