In the French metropolis of Marseille, so historically and culturally linked to Greece, something is changing. On its streets, the transport and logistics company Cogepart, is preparing to "drop" the first 10 e-NV200 XL Voltia, which it received from Nissan and will route them for delivery of goods in the wider region.
Cogepart, by integrating the all-electric e-NV200 XL Voltia into its fleet, intends to enhance its positive environmental footprint as part of its strategy to become a more responsible and sustainable transport service provider in the Marseille metropolis.
The e-NV200 XL Voltia is a very versatile conversion of the reliable Nissan e-NV200 electric truck. The new model has already been selected as the ideal zero-emission vehicle by major urban logistics and distribution companies across Europe.
The e-NV200 is reinforcing its reputation as the ideal vehicle for urban deliveries, as more and more dealers and city dwellers appreciate its near-quiet operation and zero emissions.
Expanding the diversity of the e-NV200 range, the e-NV200 XL Voltia offers a compact body and high load capacity. With 8m3 of load space, the new model extends the competitive load space of the standard e-NV200 by 90%. This allows operators to make fewer trips on each delivery round, optimising operations and saving time.
The newest member of the e-NV200 range has been designed with flexibility and practicality in mind. Combining an elongated load area with an extended roof space, the 8m3 truck allows drivers to easily load cargo, ensuring their comfort. The truck is also very manoeuvrable on the road, with an optimised turning circle, making it ideal on city streets.
The e-NV200 XL Voltia also benefits from technology inspired by the Nissan LEAF's proven engine. The model is equipped with Nissan's 40kWh battery and a built-in CHAdeMO charger for fast DC (direct current) charging capability, making it the perfect solution for flexible urban deliveries.
Alongside the efficient engine, smart energy management technology further enhances the e-NV200 XL Voltia's sustainability credentials.
Mode B optimises energy recovery during braking in order to recharge the battery on the move, while ECO mode manages output power to optimise battery capacity. These functions, when used together, maximise the vehicle's range and help the driver get more mileage out of each journey.
In Greece, Nissan offers the pure electric Nissan LEAF, e-NV200 and e-EVALIA which can now be purchased by individuals and professionals (taxis, urban deliveries, etc.) with significant incentives and benefits, as part of the government's e-mobility measures.
