Nissan Formula E drivers Sebastien Buemi and Oliver Rowland, having claimed four podium finishes, including Rowland's first Formula E victory after six races at the Tempelhof circuit in the season six finale, will be aiming for the best possible result in the final doubleheader of season seven.
"The results didn't go as we wanted in the earlier rounds in London, but Seb and Oli maintained a good pace, both in qualifying and in the races," said Tommaso Volpe, Nissan's global motorsport director. "With our successes last time out in Berlin and our strong pace in London, we will be racing harder than ever at the Tempelhof circuit to try to finish the seventh season maintaining the high level."
Nissan is competing in this world championship to bring the excitement and enjoyment of driving zero-emission electric vehicles to a global audience. As part of its goal to achieve carbon neutrality in its operations and product lifecycle by 2050, Nissan intends to "electrify" its upcoming models by the early 2030s. Nissan is targeting the benefits derived from its experience in electrification and the transfer of knowledge and technology between racing and everyday road conditions to deliver better electric vehicles to the consumer audience.
