The new Jeep Compass achieved positive scores in all test categories - adult, child, pedestrian and passive and active safety systems - with the distinction being even more significant as it was achieved under the new criteria that have been in place since 2017 and are the most stringent in the organisation's history.
For the new Jeep Compass, developed with safety at its core, the distinction has a double meaning because it proves that the iconic brand can combine its legendary off-road performance and sense of freedom that its vehicles have always offered with cutting-edge technology for ultimate safety.
A major contribution to the all-new Jeep Compass winning 5 Stars, in addition to the more than 70 passive and active safety systems, was the model's safety cage, which is made of high-strength steel in excess of 65%, ensuring high levels of passive safety and impressive rigidity for off- and on-road escapades for its drivers.
