Introducing a new model - or a facelift - every year until 2030 is what Alfa Romeo plans to do, now that it is under the umbrella of Stellantis - which has indicated it wants to strengthen it. The start made with the Tonal won't be a... flare, as the Italian brand is already working on an all-electric crossover. It will most likely be called the Brennero and will be positioned "under" the Tonale and - most likely - will be the brand's entry level EV crossover.
The above was revealed in a surprise interview with CEO of Alfa Romeo, Jean- Philippe Imparato The brand chief revealed that its first 100% electric model will debut in 2024 and will also be available with an internal combustion engine, which gives us a hint that it will probably use the Peugeot platform. 208/2008 which has this possibility.

Imparato also talked about a model that will be offered exclusively with an electric motor, which will be introduced in 2025. A milestone year for Alfa Romeo as from then on, all of its new models will be all-electric.
The Imparato's plan is to completely overhaul the Alfa Romeo range, including a complete overhaul of its range. In practice this means that by 2030 we should expect two new models to replace the Giulia and Stelvio. The full range will consist of five models - the Tonale, the Brennero, the Giulia and Stelvio replacements and a fifth, for which there is no information yet.
