Dreams become an investment sometimes
The Jaguar E-Type is like a rare diamond and to get an Aston Martin DB5 you have to be a billionaire or don't forget the Ferrari 255 GTO from '63 that sold for $52 million.
Have you ever wondered which of today's new cars could become collector's items in the future? Luckily for you there is the Topspeed.gr. So let's take a look at a "hot list" of cars that will stand out as collectibles in the next 25 years.
Buy these cars now, enjoy them and maybe your children will be sitting in a gold mine tomorrow:
1.Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider
One of the most beautiful cars we have seen in recent times. Alfa Romeo has worked wonders with the 4C, taking the awesome concept of the Lotus Elise and finishing it off...it wears a 1.75 litre turbocharged engine with 240 horsepower and weighs just 895kg! You'll be delighted with 0-100 in 4.5min and she'll be getting value. It is priced from €79,600 in Greece and could be the best investment I have ever made.
2.Maserati Ghibli S
The Ghibli S has divine good looks and Italian prestige that will make you look like a banker to say the least. It is the epitome of style without being blatant, it has its own character without copying Mercedes and Bmw. On the other hand its engine is a 3.0-litre V6 producing 345 horsepower which apart from excellent performance (0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds) makes a sporty sound that every time you turn the starter you will be bathed in a smile and be happy with your choice. It's priced at around €120,000 but in the future the price may be on fire. One of the future collector cars you should bet ...
3.Jaguar F-Type R
With 550 horsepower and 69.3 kg of torque, acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 300 km, the Jaguar F-Type V8 R will become your everyday dream where you'll drive it with a helmet on and wake up in a sweat. The Jaguar F-Type R is one of the more expensive cars on our list will cost €150,000 but it's hard to resist the stunning looks and the beastly 5.0-litre V8 with mechanical supercharger that takes you on a journey with its melody.
4.Alfa Romeo Gulia QV
We loved it before we even touched it; we fell in love with it before we drove it because we were so sure of it. Alfa Romeo has managed to make up for all those years of absence of rear-wheel drive legends that we'd grown accustomed to in the past. Under the bonnet is an all-new 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol engine, which produces 510bhp and sends the beautiful 1530kg body from standstill to 100km in just 3.9mins! The Giulia is an all-new car yet there are several similarities with another car on the list the Maserati Ghibli. Perhaps the most passionate investment you can make today. Oh the price hasn't been announced yet but expect around €75,000 for the dream of tomorrow...
5.Chevrolet Camaro copo
The hostile-looking Chevrolet Camaro copo is already a rare car with only 69 planned for production. It's a hand-built dragster with a safety cage and only two bucket seats up front. Chevrolet tells us it will be the king of the 400 meters. You certainly don't mind making Vin Diesel look humble. The copo Camaro is expected to cost around €80,000, however to get it you'll have to go to a dealer in America.
6.Dodge Challenger Hellcat
This is the bargain of the list since for $60,000 you get 707 horses from the 6.2-liter V8. The Challenger accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds while covering the 400 in 11.7 seconds. With such performance, this muscle car is called a supercar killer but unfortunately dodge has pulled out of the market which is very sad since a race against a Nissan Gtr would have been a supercar spectacle. With limited production and 707 horsepower it is sure to go down in history so make it a collector's item now. The Hellcat was built to turn fuel into a deafening sound and tires into ...rubber dust.
We could put Ferrari La Ferrari, the Ferrai FXXK that has already skyrocketed in value, all the Pagani and other supercars that will surely go up in value, but these are a high return bet. At worst, you'll be the owner of one of the best vehicles built in the last decade.
