We are told that it is exciting as there is no fuss like in today's racing and that it is clean for the environment. It will help improve today's electrics and make them even faster with their incredible E-tron like torque . I will agree to a point but what car enthusiast doesn't like to hear the roar at every press of the throttle of a V8 or doesn't crackle and flame from the exhaust or the sound of a 12 cylinder Ferrari?
They even say that 10 to 20 years from now the smell of exhaust will be like the smell of cigarettes in a restaurant. Uh, that's... encouraging.
