With perfectly balanced proportions, a sensual design with attention to detail, the latest generation MBUX and a range of engine and equipment versions that can meet every customer wish, the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class has brought something unique to the compact class. It speaks to the heart of the public who choose it for the elegance and style it brings to everyday commuting, whether as a hatchback or a sedan.
Until now, since its launch in the Greek market, the A-Class has been available in three petrol versions (A200, A220 4MATIC & A250 4MATIC), one diesel version (A220d) and one plug-in hybrid version (A250e). The characteristic feature of all five versions, both in hatchback and sedan, is their impressively rich basic equipment.
Now, the acquisition of the Mercedes A-Class hatchback & sedan becomes more affordable, as Star Automotive Hellas made sure to add to its range of models the new import versions Α180 Style & A250e Style (hatchback and sedan). As of today, always with the consumer and his or her needs in mind, the above versions are offered at preferential purchase or long-term lease prices and have slight variations to the rich palette of standard A-Class equipment, without any change to the main comfort and safety features of the model. Η A180 Style is available with, among other things, automatic transmission, reversing camera, leather steering wheel, DYNAMIC SELECT driving mode selection system, the familiar advanced Mercedes-Benz assistance systems such as Speed Limit Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist, Navigation Premium navigation system and 10.25" multimedia screen. In addition, it is available with 16-inch wheels (17-inch wheels for the A250e Style) and 8 colour options.
The A180 Style version (hatchback & sedan) features the familiar 1,330 cc four-cylinder petrol engine found in the A200 & GLA200 versions with a maximum power output of 136 hp (100kW). Like the rest of its petrol engine range, it has a mild 48 Volt hybrid system that supports fast starting with 10 kW of extra power. This small 14bhp electric motor in the hybrid system adds lively throttle response at low revs per minute, but also takes a share of the load off the petrol engine, resulting in reduced fuel consumption.
Regarding the plug-in hybrid version A250e Style, apart from modifications to the basic equipment of the vehicle, there have been no variations in the power of the electric motor and consequently in the increased electric range it offers. Three options remain available for charging: in addition to the standard 3.7 kW, the battery can also be charged with AC and up to 11 kW or DC up to 22 kW (optional equipment). Charging from 10% to 80% with DC takes approximately 25 minutes, ensuring a flexible and practical charging process for everyday use.
