400 hp in "R" version of the Ford Ranger Raptor?

The clock is counting down. Ford's wildest, hottest, most capable off-road vehicle, the Ranger Raptor is coming, in its toughest version. On February 22, Ford will make the unveiling (Topspeed.gr will be broadcasting live) and that's where we'll get all the details.

Although little has been leaked so far, what is certain is that the new Raptor (which is also popular in Greece) has been developed by Ford Performance for off-road driving enthusiasts. Leaks suggest that we'll see a Raptor R version, although there is... controversy over the engines it will "wear".

According to the information available so far, the model will wear a V6 turbodiesel, while the most powerful version of the model is possible in two ways: The 5-liter V8, rated at 400 horsepower that the American market has seen in the DR version of the Bronco, or a 3.5-liter twin turbo V6, rated at 340 or 400 horsepower.
