Fiat: The new Panda begins development testing

To be presented on 4 July 2024

As already announced by Fiat CEO Olivier François on the occasion of the Italian company's birthday on 4 July 2024, the fourth generation of the new Panda will be revealed, which will be the most important model of the new Fiat era.

Moves to category B

The new model leaves the A class and will now represent Fiat in the popular B class, in which Fiat has always been a leader.

Modified pre-production bodywork

The photos by the famous photographer Gabetz Spy Unit (Walter Vayr) published on his personal Facebook profile reveal an early version of the new car. It is essentially a pre-production mule on the body of the new Citroën ëC3, with only the front end of the new Panda mounted on it. This follows from the new headlamps and grille as seen on the Fiat Centoventi prototype. Within Fiat it is known by the code (Fiat 328) and for Stellantis by the code F1H.

Electric... but also hybrid

Fiat will launch the new Panda both as an affordable electric model and as a hybrid. The car will be manufactured in Serbia.
