More than 500,000 Opel Crossland have been produced

The compact SUV with the lightning bolt badge has managed to chart a successful commercial path since its launch in 2017 with sales now exceeding the 500,000 units milestone.

There are many reasons for this success. At just 4.22 m long, the Opel Crossland combines maximum interior flexibility with plenty of space for the whole family. This is ensured, among other things, by the 60/40 split rear seats, which can be moved along the longitudinal axis over a distance of 150 mm, depending on the version. As a result, luggage space capacity increases from 410 to 520 litres in no time at all. With the rear seats fully folded, capacity increases to 1,255 litres.

In addition, the car is equipped with numerous assistance systems that make driving the Crossland relaxing and safe. Among the standard assistance systems are Cruise Control and Speed Limiter, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, as well as bright LED headlights. Systems such as Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection, Driver Drowsiness Alert, Head-up Display, 180° Panoramic Rear View Camera, IntelliGrip Traction Control System and many more are also available.

The Crossland impresses not only with its versatility and cutting-edge technologies, but also with its modern looks. It adopts Opel's distinctive new design language, including elements such as Vizor. The grille runs across the front section as a single element, visually widening its width. The rear section is also Bold & Pure, designed to catch the eye. Here, the Crossland emblem is confidently flaunted in the centre of the tailgate.

The successful model is manufactured at the Zaragoza plant in Spain. Opel has already announced that its successor, like all new models with the lightning bolt badge, will have an electric version. From 2028 onwards, Opel will exclusively sell electric vehicles in Europe.
