The Forza name has long been a potent force in Honda's motorcycle range. Its history as a premium, mid-size scooter dates back to 2000: the first model set the standard with its lively handling, ample storage space and an innovative combined braking system. The Forza was well received in Europe, as customers appreciated its versatile personality in all aspects of everyday life. Since the arrival of the Forza 125 in 2015, over 160,000 examples of the Forza family have been sold in Europe in 125, 350 and 750 versions.

Retaining the blend of sporty and GT characteristics that are a hallmark of the model, the mid-size Forza is constantly evolving, aiming to exceed its owners' expectations with every upgrade. Already, from 04YM it has gained an S MATIC transmission with Honda's electronically controlled CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) , Smart Key system, ultra-efficient PGM-FI fuel injection and room for two full-face helmets under the saddle. The 05YM added an ABS system and, for the 08YM, luxury items such as a sound system package with speakers and upgraded S MATIC (with automatic shifting function) and combined ABS brakes.

The 16YM Forza makes its debut with a new, 'sit-in' seat design so that two people can travel comfortably, even at high speeds on the motorway. The 18YM marked the arrival of a radically redesigned Forza 300. Following in the footsteps of its smaller brother, the Forza 125, the Forza 300 became lighter, more compact, sharper and sportier, while retaining intact the advantages of its 'GT' character. A 'Limited–Edition' with Grey/Gloss Black colours and matching Smart top box, the 20YM was added as an exclusive option.

In 21YM it's time for another step forward: the Forza 350. Faster, even more practical - with new features like Bluetooth connectivity and Honda Smartphone Voice Control* - and, of course, even more attractive styling.

For 23YM, the Forza 350 continues its journey with a sleek new look and two new premium color options.

Model overview

The all-new front fascia gives the Forza 350 a new, even more elegant and refined identity with styling cues borrowed directly from the top-of-the-line Forza 750 series. With the new dual LED headlights as the dominant element, the new front fascia brings the Forza 350's explosive character into the modern era.

Style is renewed and exceptional practicality remains. The electric jelly features a 180mm long travel adjustment that maximises the feeling of freedom or wind protection, depending on the rider's preference. A USB Type-C port in the glove box offers a handy charging point, with the Smart Key function increasing convenience, and there's room for two full-face helmets under the saddle.

The reliable chassis remains the same, as does the 330cc, water-cooled SOHC four-cylinder engine that works with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) to maintain traction at the rear wheel. Delivering 29.2 PS (21.5kW) of power and 31.5Nm of torque, it ensures powerful performance across the rev range, offering brisk acceleration and a top speed of 137km/h.

The instrument panel has been updated with the Forza 350 rider also enjoying the ability to connect to their smartphone via Bluetooth and the Honda Smartphone Voice Control* system, which for the 23YM is also compatible with IOS and Android devices.

Two new colours

New and sculpted for style and aerodynamic performance, the Forza 350's sleek, refined front fairing, which features several design influences directly from the flagship Forza 750 family, creates a sense of dynamic sporting character and premium appeal. The new headlights, inspired by those on the Forza 750, are an important part of the recognizable Forza identity, with clean and simple design lines that underline the premium appeal.

The height of the saddle is 780mm. There is plenty of room for two riders, who can travel in comfort and safety. All lights are LED technology. Two full-face helmets fit under the saddle, and there is partitionable storage space for carrying a helmet and/or a waterproof and A4-size bags. The front left locker inside the fairing locks and the interior space can be configured to suit the rider's preferred use - carrying a phone and a water bottle, for example. It also includes a USB port. All lights are premium LED.

Keeping the rider fully connected, the Forza 350 also features Honda Smartphone Voice Control*, which connects the rider to their Android device while on the move and allows for voice management of phone calls, messages, music and navigation. For the 23YM several of the HSVC's features are also supported on IOS smartphones. A headset system built into the helmet is required, and the smartphone connects to the dashboard via Bluetooth. Honda Smartphone Voice can also be operated via a button on the left-hand grille.

The Forza 350's Smart Key, in addition to controlling the main switch and saddle lock, is also compatible with the optional 45-litre top box. With the Smart Key in the rider's pocket, the top box automatically locks when the rider moves away, and can be locked by the rider from the key. In order not to reduce storage space, the control mechanism was placed at the rear of the scooter.

The front and rear indicators have the Emergency Stop Signal function with automatic cancellation technology. As soon as the ABS unit detects sudden braking, the turn signals flash at high speed to warn other vehicles that sudden braking is in progress.

The new, redesigned instruments include an analogue speedometer and tachometer. In the centre is a digital display with 3 display modes: 1) total odometer, remaining range and instantaneous consumption, 2) partial odometer, average consumption and stopwatch, 3) ambient temperature and battery voltage gauge.

Ο υδρόψυκτος κινητήρας ψεκασμού 330 κ.εκ με μονό Εκκεντροφόρο Επικεφαλής (1ΕΕΚ/SOHC) και 4 βαλβίδες, αποδίδει μέγιστη ισχύ 29,2 PS στις 7.500 σαλ., με μέγιστη ροπή 31,5 Nm στις 5.250 σαλ. Η τελική ταχύτητα είναι 137km/h, ενώ επιταχύνοντας από στάση, το Forza 350 μπορεί να καλύψει 200m σε 10,4 δευτ.

Η διάμετρος του κυλίνδρου είναι 77mm με διαδρομή 70,8mm και η σχέση συμπίεσης στα 10.5:1. Έχοντας κοκοράκια με ρουλεμάν, κουζινέτα στροφαλοφόρου χαμηλών τριβών και στεγανό στροφαλοθάλαμο, διακρίνεται για την αξιοπιστία σε βάθος χρόνου και τις ισχυρές επιδόσεις. Για βελτίωση της ψύξης του εμβόλου, ένα μπεκ λαδιού, όπως αυτό της CRF450R, ψεκάζει λάδι στο πίσω τμήμα του εμβόλου, βελτιώνοντας το χρονισμό της ανάφλεξης και την αποδοτικότητα καύσης. Η χωρητικότητα σε λιπαντικό είναι 1,8 λίτρα.

Ο αέρας τροφοδοτείται από ένα φιλτροκούτι 5,5 λίτρων σε ένα σώμα ψεκασμού 36mm. Ο αυλός εισαγωγής προσφέρει αυξημένη ροή και στροβιλισμό στο κύλινδρο για πιο ομοιόμορφη καύση. Τα καυσαέρια εξέρχονται μέσω μιας εξαγωγής ευθείας διατομής, και για μείωση της πίεσης των καυσαερίων (backpressure), το σιλανσιέ αποτελείται από δύο ξεχωριστούς θαλάμους.

Οι εσωτερικές τριβές έχουν μειωθεί χάρη στην έκκεντρη τοποθέτηση του κυλίνδρου κατά 5mm, στην υιοθέτηση υδραυλικού τεντωτήρα καδένας και στη χρήση μιας αντλίας επιστροφής λαδιού. Η αντλία αυτή που χρησιμοποιείται σε κινητήρες υψηλών επιδόσεων, μειώνει την εσωτερική πίεση μέσα στον κινητήρα, την ανάδευση του λαδιού, καθώς και τις απώλειες και τις εσωτερικές τριβές στα κινούμενα μέρη. Ένας νέος αντικραδασμικός άξονας ελαχιστοποιεί τους κραδασμούς και συμβάλλει στην ομαλή, απολαυστική οδήγηση.

Ο αυτόματος φυγοκεντρικός συμπλέκτης ελέγχει ένα κιβώτιο V-Matic (με κλιμάκωση κατάλληλη για δυνατές επιταχύνσεις στις χαμηλές ταχύτητες) και τον ιμάντα τελικής μετάδοσης.

Ο κινητήρας του διαθέτει Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Το σύστημα ανιχνεύει την οποιαδήποτε διαφορά ταχύτητας μεταξύ εμπρός και πίσω τροχού, υπολογίζει το βαθμό ολίσθησης και ελέγχει τη ροπή του κινητήρα μέσω της διαχείρισης του ψεκασμού καυσίμου, για ανάκτηση της πρόσφυσης στον πίσω τροχό. Το HSTC ενεργοποιείται και απενεργοποιείται από ένα διακόπτη στο αριστερό γκριπ. Μία ένδειξη ‘Τ’ στην ψηφιακή οθόνη αναβοσβήνει όταν το σύστημα διαχειρίζεται την πρόσφυση.

Η κατανάλωση καυσίμου είναι μόλις 29.4km/l, με το ρεζερβουάρ των 11,7L να παρέχει δυνατότητα αυτονομίας έως 340km+.

Το ανθεκτικό αλλά ελαφρύ ατσάλινο πλαίσιο είναι το μυστικό της αυτοπεποίθησης που προσφέρει το Forza 350 στο δρόμο. Το μεταξόνιο είναι 1510mm, η γωνία κάστερ 26,5° και το ίχνος τροχού 89mm. Το ψυγείο βρίσκεται μπροστά από το ρεζερβουάρ καυσίμου για καλύτερη απαγωγή της θερμότητας, και η μπαταρία τοποθετείται ανάμεσα στο ρεζερβουάρ και τον αποθηκευτικό χώρο κάτω από τη σέλα, με αποτέλεσμα τη συγκέντρωση της μάζας στο κέντρο. Η ανάρτηση αποτελείται από στιβαρό τηλεσκοπικό πιρούνι 33 mm εμπρός και διπλά αμορτισέρ πίσω και μονοκόμματο αλουμινένιο ψαλίδι με ρυθμιζόμενη προφόρτιση ελατηρίου σε 5 επίπεδα.

Ο μπροστινός τροχός των 15 ιντσών από χυτό αλουμίνιο φορά ελαστικό 120/70-15 ενώ ο πίσω τροχός των 14 ιντσών φορά ελαστικό 140/70-14 που εξασφαλίζει μέγιστη πρόσφυση και άνεση στην οδήγηση. Στον τομέα της πέδησης, μπροστά υπάρχει ένα δισκόφρενο 256mm, που συνδυάζεται με πίσω δισκόφρενο 240mm, και με δικάναλο ABS για καλύτερο έλεγχο σε ολισθηρά οδοστρώματα.
