Renault Twingo runs in the Greece Race for the Cure

With its signature message, "Passion for Life", Renault actively supports actions that promote life in all its aspects. Whether it be actions that support teamwork, inspiration for life, equality, the elimination of discrimination, or active support for the work of social organisations or institutions that aim to disseminate human-centred messages or actions.

In this context, Renault is participating as main sponsor of the 11th Greece Race for the Cure®, the symbolic 10km & 5km Road & 2km Walk race. organized by the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois", which has been organized in Greece since 2009 by the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois", with the approval of the Susan G. Komen® organization and now as a founding member of Think Pink Europe®.

The new Renault TWINGO will be Renault's main spokesperson in the fight for awareness, prevention and the fight against breast cancer. The choice of the new Renault TWINGO is no accident. It is a "smart" city car chosen mainly by women who know what they want and know how to achieve it. TWINGO represents an optimistic attitude towards life, towards everyday life. With its engine and rear-wheel drive, it gives its driver the opportunity to achieve maximum flexibility when moving around town.

Its compact dimensions (just 3.6 m external length) are combined with top interior space and the ability to carry objects up to 2.31 m long inside. So the woman who chooses it knows she doesn't have to compromise on her needs. Just as she also knows that her own unique style can be reflected in her favourite car, as she can choose from a wide range of colour combinations for the exterior and interior, as well as decorative elements such as the car's side stripes and alloy wheels.

The new Renault TWINGO is the car for the woman who doesn't want to compromise and wants to win. She wants to win the daily fight for her life.

Visitors to the Renault stand will have the opportunity to spread the message of the fight against breast cancer, simply by taking a very special photo.

On the first day of the event, at 12:30 noon on Saturday 28 September, the well-known Athenian street artist YIAKOU, created live, in his own unique way, a work with the central message "Passion for Life". The aim is to capture and spread the optimistic message that "Passion for Life" overcomes every difficulty.

The Greece Race for the Cure® is organized on Sunday, September 29th in Athens, starting from Zappeion in co-organization with the Organization for Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA) and with the approval of the American Susan G. Komen® Organization. The Greek event is the second largest among 140 events held worldwide, aiming to raise awareness of breast cancer, promote prevention and early diagnosis and empower patients. Within the framework of the Greece Race for the Cure®, many parallel actions are carried out to promote health in general and to highlight the strength of women who have experienced breast cancer, both on the day of the race and on Saturday 28 September, turning the event into a celebration of life. Every year, the net proceeds of the race are used to fund programs of the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois".
