Alfa Romeo is moving into the future and planning for the long term. With a distinct Italian heritage, the brand remains true to its roots, despite the move towards electrification. Driver enjoyment and passion remain the focus, with electrification offering the opportunity for more environmentally friendly high performance.

The brand's presence in motorsport, and in F1 in particular, will continue to play a key role in the future, expressing Alfa Romeo's prestigious sporting DNA that has been alive since 1910. F1 is the leading laboratory of change and therefore a key area for Alfa Romeo and its journey towards electrification. At the same time, F1 is also a powerful tool for global visibility.

Born in Turin in 1972, Cristiano Fiorio was Head of Brand Marketing Communication for FCA's EMEA region and was also responsible for the brands' presence at sporting events and sponsorships. In November 2019, he was the man who led the team with which Fiat launched the new all-electric 500. Mr. Fiorio has worked at FCA Group since 2013, in various positions related to communication and promotion, and is a Council Member of Basicnet (Superga, Kappa, Sebago, Kway and other well-known brands).
