Nissan LEAF for the Italian Coast Guard

 

  The Nissan LEAF's
Italian Coast Guard,  will
used by the Coast Guard for shore patrol activities,
and to support the surveillance of 31 marine protected areas
areas such as Portofino, the Miramare Castle Park, the island of Portofino, the  Favignana, the park of La Maddalena and the
Tremiti Islands.

  The specific
project under the auspices of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of the
Italy, is part of the national plan to carbonise the country
and for Nissan it translates into one more 
example aimed at protecting the environment and the
air quality.


  Marco Toro, President
and CEO of Nissan Italy, said: "Nissan has a long experience

support for activities related to  the protection of marine protected areas
areas. In addition, the LEAF is the landmark model for Nissan in the

Nissan crossover."


  With autonomy that
of 528 kilometres, the latest generation LEAF is equipped with
(optional) with ProPILOT, an advanced driving feature that
combines power steering with acceleration and braking,
in order  help the driver to
long journeys and in heavy traffic, both on motorways and in
in single lanes. The LEAF is also equipped (optionally) with
ProPILOT Park, which parks the car automatically and easily.
These aids are designed to improve safety, comfort and convenience
and the driver's control of the vehicle.


  The Nissan LEAF, can
now to be acquired, with the "Moving Electrically" program that
recently introduced by the government, at particularly attractive prices starting from
27.500€ for the version with the 40Kwh battery (including the
subsidies at the original price  and in
scrapping of an old vehicle).  In addition, the
Nissan offers for its range of electric vehicles the "EV 4" package
ALL", making it even more tempting to buy an electric car.
