Watch a 2000 hp Nissan GT-R lose control at 350 mph!

Fortunately no one was injured when the GT-R lost control at the end of the race and while it had reached its maximum speed of 350 km/h!

In recent years the 400cc dragster has gained a huge amount of competition as tuners have been raising the bar more and more, pushing the horsepower to 4-digit numbers and lowering the seconds, making the driver's task seem more and more difficult. This video is no exception where the driver has to tame the 2000 rabid horses of the GT-R.

The grey Nissan GT-R was built by the Insanity Racing team and apart from the unrealistic mechanical improvements, it also has a roll cage and a fire extinguishing system for obvious reasons.

According to the video description, an axle broke while the car was traveling at a speed of 350 mph, forcing the driver to hit the brake. This resulted in the Switzer Goliath X, as they call this GT-R, doing a tête-à-tête at over 300 mph going off the runway and ending up on the grass. Fortunately the GT-R did not roll over and the driver came out unscathed. The Goliath suffered only minor damage considering the... unreal speed at which the tête-à-tête occurred.

Now the team has set a new target, which is 360 km/h, as an exit speed... not from the treadmill but from 400 meters!

Let me remind you of one similar incident but with disastrous results for the car (Camaro) to convince you that safety systems save lives and that Godgilla doesn't tumbling!
