Nissan : e-POWER electric vehicle sales in Japan exceed 500,000

Nissan's e-POWER differs from typical hybrid systems, as
simplifies the operation of the drive train, with the high-speed electric motor
performance to provide power to the wheels only. The lithium-ion battery
which powers the electric motor, is recharged by a highly
an efficient, integrated internal combustion engine that functions as a generator
Power. For drivers, e-POWER offers a seamless experience of a powerful and powerful
acceleration, similar to that of an EV, without the worry of charging. This
mode of operation,  makes the
electric mobility available to many more drivers than ever before.

  The efficiency of fuel consumption
is also at the core of Nissan's e-POWER system, with the
engine to run at an optimised speed for recharging the
battery. The engine is mainly activated at high rolling speeds or at
bumpy road, when the sound of the engine can be masked by the noise of the
road. This ensures that the driving experience is, in most scenarios
Driving,  quiet as an EV, like an EV
walk around town.

e-POWER debuted in Japan with its compact model
Note in November 2016. Since then, the Note e-POWER has conquered the
confidence of the buying public. The Note won the car title
with the most sales in Japan in 2018.

In March 2018 an e-POWER version of the popular minivan was launched
Serena, which was followed by the all-new Kicks SUV e-POWER in June
2020. Kicks e-POWER was also released in some Asian markets,
extending the availability of e-POWER technology. In December of
the same year, the all-new Note was released exclusively with the sophisticated
second generation e-POWER system.

Just last February, the all-new Nissan Qashqai made the
debut in the European market with the release of the  e-POWER to follow the hybrid,  marking the first commercial availability of the
e-POWER in the Old Continent.

In addition to the strong and immediate response during acceleration, the models
e-POWER are characterized for their performance, as well as for their ability to
acceleration and deceleration with the accelerator pedal only.

Nissan has set a goal to achieve carbon neutrality in the
its activities and the life cycle of its products by 2050. As part of
of this effort, in the early 2030s, every new Nissan vehicle
available in key markets will be electrified.

Alongside its electric vehicles, Nissan has installed the e-POWER
as a key pillar of the electrification strategy of its models and will
continue to expand its range to cover a wide range of needs
of potential buyers.

In Greece, Nissan offers for its range of electric vehicles
the "EV 4 ALL" package, making it even more tempting to acquire a
