Karting on a frozen lake is simply top-notch

Are you thawed out? Are you complaining that snow and ice have covered everything? Do you think it's taking the joy out of driving? If so, you need to look at it another way. Because, snow and ice - when they don't kill people - is fun.

That's what a group of Americans in Colorado thought and opened a track that is probably the best in the world. Aspen Ice Karting, is a track on a frozen lake, where you can (and you can, if you travel all the way there) go karting.

The karts the company gives out are no slouches either, as they're equipped with 12-horsepower Briggs & Stratton engines, disc brakes and a top speed of 80 mph, while wearing Heidenau studded snow tires so there's some traction (not that you'll avoid drifting). If karting was cool, now it's become top-notch.
