Responding to the international community's call for practical support and solidarity with the earthquake-affected populations of Turkey and Syria, Nissan - Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A. and its staff, delivered the following packaged products to the Hellenic Red Cross:
- Personal hygiene products for adults and infants
- Children's Food
- Evaporated milk
- Cereals, sweets and snacks
- Canned goods
- Legumes & pasta
- Various pharmaceuticals
"The shocking images of the victims and the injured from the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria do not allow us to remain indifferent. We consider it our duty to show our practical solidarity with the suffering peoples of Turkey and Syria and therefore, both the staff of Nissan - Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A. and the company itself have responded immediately to the collection and donation of humanitarian aid material, which will be sent to the affected areas by the Greek Red Cross", said the Human Resources Director of Nissan - Nik. I. Theocharakis S.A., Mr. Dimitris Kyrgiopoulos.
It is worth noting that globally, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. will offer an aid package of up to €1 million to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Turkey, following the recent devastating earthquakes in the affected areas of the country.
