FCA & ENGIE EPS, working together for easier and more affordable electrification

 

  FCA Italy S.p.A. ("FCA"), a subsidiary of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.
and ENGIE EPS, an Italian technology company in the storage sector
energy and
eMobility, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aiming at the creation of a new company
which will play a leading role in the field of
eMobility in Europe. The new agency will be based on the financial resources and
the industrial footprint of
FCA and the advanced know-how of the ENGIE EPS in this area. The cooperation between the two
companies comes as a result of their quest to offer solutions and
services accessible to all in the new era of electrified and sustainable
automotive.

 

 

  The new company will offer a full range of products and services for
electric vehicle users, such as home and public stations
charging and, "green" energy packages. Having in its portfolio
hundreds of patents and industrial secrets, strong teams of engineers and
deep knowledge of the automotive industry, the new company eMobility, will benefit from the strong characteristics of the FCA and ENGIE EPS. This cooperation will be an important
strategic move in the evolution of the products offered by the two Groups and
will be a decisive step towards eliminating problems along the way
of Europe to the
eMobility.

  The new partnership will pass the relevant checks by the competent authorities,
and the two parties are expected to sign all the relevant agreements by
the end of the year, so that the new company can be established within the first
quarter of 2021.
