When will the new CITROEN C5 AIRCROSS SUV PLUG-IN HYBRID SUV arrive in Greece?

Within the current month the Greek market will see the arrival of the Plug-in hybrid
Citroen version
C5 Aircross. With its main... asset that of the
top comfort, the new model is also available in
able to offer safety and dynamic performance thanks to the combined power
of 225 hp.

  The possibility of partial exemption
from the visit to the petrol station gives, therefore, the new SUV Citroën C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid,
that thanks to plug in hybrid technology which it incorporates, gives
the possibility for the holder to carry out all his/her daily activities
movements exclusively in electric mode, taking advantage of the autonomy
of 55 km* (
WLTP) offered by the 13.2 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Under the front bonnet they join the
their forces a 1.6-litre PureTech 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with
180 horsepower
, of Euro 6 specification, combined with a electric
Engine 80 kW
(about 109 HP), which is installed between the
petrol engine and the electrified ë-EAT8 automatic box
8-speed gearbox. The drive is transmitted to the front wheels, η
combined system power reaches 225 hp
, while the torque is 320
Nm - features that guarantee, on the one hand, safe overtaking and, on the
another, a little more in the area of driving pleasure (in this area the
its own role is played by the new rear suspension, which, being multi-link
works in favour of road behaviour).

The driver has the option to choose
of the drive either with the combination of the two drive units, or exclusively
with the electric motor, without any discounts in performance, since η
available electric power allows for fast travel in and out of the city at speeds of up to 135 km/h
. In this function is limited and
noise, for which additional measures have been taken anyway (e.g. soundproofing, soundproofing
front crystals). While at the same time, given the zero CO
2 during operation
this, the new SUV Citroën
C5 Aircross
Plugin Hybrid

may enter restricted zones, which are
open only for zero-emission vehicles - ZEV (Zero Emissions Vehicles).

* Depends on the
version and optional equipment of the model

And because electrification has to be
relaxes rather than stresses the driver, battery charging is now
easier (from 2 to 7 hours - in the slowest case) and can be
planned in order to take advantage of the reduced tariff of the
power, using either the central touch screen on the dashboard of the
a car, or the mobile application "My Citroën".

In any case the presence of the
petrol engine guarantees that you'll never run out of battery power, while
and enables the possibility of making long journeys, even unpredictable ones
- during which valuable companion prove to be the 20 systems
driving assistance available in the new Citroën rechargeable hybrid
.
Among these, particularly useful is the Highway Driver Assist (assisting
motorway traffic), a level 2 autonomous driving system.

It is worth noting that both in
plug-in hybrid version, the
SUV C5 Aircross still
is the best in class in terms of configuration possibilities,
making the most of the three autonomous, sliding, adjustable and
folding rear seats. While the intelligent battery storage
high voltage under the rear seats, the available space was not affected,
with the new model featuring an extremely large boot 460 to 600
litres (depending on the position of the seats), which is a record for the
plug-in hybrid C-SUV category
.

Note that the presentation of the re SUV Citroën C5 Aircross Plugin Hybrid marks the
energy shift of the French company, which by 2023 will have electric
versions in its 80% range, while in 2025 all its models will come with the 80%
than a generally electric version. To achieve this goal, from the
launch of the new hybrid
SUV C5 Aircross, all the news
models launched by the
Citroën will be offered
and an electric version.

The new SUV Citroën C5 Aircross Plugin Hybrid expected in
Greek market in November.
