The Weekend, η Constitution Square, it turns into a... rally track on Lilliputian drivers. This is the 1st Athens Baby Rally, for the sake of which, the Square will be paved with special carpet and will be formed city conditions with traffic lights, bends, squares, parking, public works, schools, intersections, animal interventions and possible accidents, etc., in an attempt to child that will drive the electric car or the bike confronted with the reality that they will encounter on the streets.

The children will be trained in road safety under the auspices of Municipality of Athens, of Traffic, of Iof the Stathakis Foundation and the Institute for Research in Childhood Education, which organises all creative side activities. The event is organised by. Image Communication, Cultural Organisation, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens, as well as the competent Directorate of the Ministry of Citizen Protection.

At the side of the organizers of this great social celebration and offer, the Cultural, Sports and Youth Organization of the Municipality of Athens and image communication, the Traffic Police of Attica will be present and participate in order to make children understand the safety conditions on the roads and that traffic officers are their friends and protectors of their lives.

The Athens Baby Rally Concerns children up to 10 years old and will take place at Syntagma Square, which is easily accessible to all residents of Attica.

In the area of the event will be set up two tracks where children will drive with electric cars or bicycles.
On one track, city conditions will be created with intersections, circular routes in squares, pedestrian priority, etc. where children will learn traffic and safety rules through play and on the other, for older children, there will be "speed race".
At specific points there will be a number ofdiomorphic pit, refuelling stations for drivers.

The parallel events
In cooperation with the Institute of Research and Studies for Child Education (I.E.A.P.), there will be a painting competition on road safety and performances of Karagiozis on road traffic rules, so that children through play come closer to reality. There will also be a range of other activities for children and parents.
The children who will participate will be given prizes and many souvenirs.
