Of the 42 models included in the initial list of contenders for the "Car of the Year 2025" title, the Alfa Romeo Junior qualified for the final 7. The winner will be announced on 10 January 2025 at the Brussels Motor Show, through a live vote by the jury of 60 European journalists from 23 countries.
Greece is represented by 4TROXOI magazine with the vote of Ms. Eleni Xenaki, Editorial Director of the magazine. It should be noted that the magazine has maintained its voting rights since 1982, initially with Mr. Kostas Kavvatas and then with Mr. Stratis Hadjipanagiotou.
Combining authentic Alfa Romeo character with compact dimensions, the Junior is the sportiest model in its class, and the new gateway to the exciting world of the legendary Italian brand. Moreover, with its ability to reconcile sporty road manners with everyday comfort, the Junior has taken it upon itself to create the new Alfisti.
Available in Greece
It is available as the Ibrida with a 136 HP hybrid system and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, as the Elettrica with a 156 HP electric motor and as the Veloce. The latter is the top-of-the-range version that uses a 280 HP electric motor and adopts significant engineering upgrades - such as the mechanical differential lock - that make it even sportier. The range will be completed with the addition of the Q4 hybrid four-wheel-drive version, with a 21 kW electric motor integrated into the rear system.
The Alfa Romeo Junior is already available in Greece with the Elettrica costing €28,900 including the state subsidy of the "Moving Electric III" program, while the Ibrida starts at €29,900 with standard automatic transmission and a wealth of comfort and safety equipment.
