Listen to the sound of the Alfa Romeo 155 Ti's V6 screaming through the Italian mountains at 12,000 rpm.

The Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI competed in the German and World Touring Championship where it set a record with 38 victories in the 1993-96 season. It had a 2.5 litre V6 engine and produced 390 horses at 11,500 rpm!
Since 1995 she was sponsored by Martini Racing and became even more impressive in her appearance.

The 1996 version, which is the one in the video with the Italian driver Marco Gramenzi driving it on a climb in Italy, was much improved from the previous one with the performance now reaching 490 hp at 11900 rpm and the top speed was 300 km per hour. Given that it was a large car it weighed just 1,060 kilograms creating serious problems for the competition.

In essence, the Alfa Romeo 155 is the replacement for the last legendary rear-wheel drive Alfa Romeo 75. Production started in 1992 and 192,618 were built until 1998 when it was replaced by the beautiful 156.

So watch the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti screaming at 12,000 rpm!
