Coming to Europe AITO with 3 advanced SUVs, namely the AITO 5, AITO 7 and AITO 9, which impressed the audience at the Mondial de l'Auto.
The "Eurasian Tour with AITO" convoy, consisting of the AITO 9, AITO 7 and AITO 5 models, set off from the company's Chongqing plant and travelled 15,000 kilometres in 38 days, crossing 12 countries in Asia and Europe, before arriving in Paris to participate in the 90th Paris Motor Show.
Then, on 14 October, AITO presented its leading range of products and advanced technologies to a global audience in a presentation entitled "Intelligence Redefining Luxury". At the heart of the presentation was a very special AITO 9: the key member of the "Eurasian Tour with AITO" convoy. Having completed the long expedition from Chongqing to Paris, it came to seal the outstanding performance of AITO models on roads of all kinds and in extreme environmental conditions.
Particularly in areas with limited charging infrastructure, reliable power supply was undoubtedly one of the biggest challenges for the "new energy" vehicles during the mission. However, AITO's range-extender technology overcame charging limitations while providing the driving experience of an all-electric car. It effectively addressed the stress of finding charging points, ensuring extremely long range. In addition, comprehensive safety features, such as a robust chassis structure, 5-layer battery insulation, and 20 state-of-the-art active safety aids, guaranteed safety on the road throughout the mission.
AITO's intelligent assistance technology proved to be essential in reducing driver fatigue on such a long journey, contributing to around 8,800 of the total 15,000 km of the journey. In addition, AITO's intelligent Autoparking system proved its adaptability by providing many options and ensuring precise manoeuvring in tight parking spaces. With the Remote Parking feature, drivers could select a parking spot and let the car complete the process automatically. A feature that never stopped catching the attention of the public at all the locations the mission passed through.
Three smart and advanced SUVs from AITO
The AITO 9, the company's flagship smart SUV, demonstrated remarkable performance in challenging environments during the mission. It tackled the most demanding conditions - all kinds of roads, extreme temperatures and difficult terrain, from towering mountains to dry deserts. With its advanced technology and comprehensive safety features, its capabilities were once again confirmed in practice. Something that the public has also recognised, as the AITO 9 has achieved more than 140,000 sales (and 100,000 deliveries) within nine months of its launch. This performance gives it 3rd place in sales among models over 60,000 euros in the Chinese luxury model market.
The AITO 7, a large, comfortable SUV with extended range, showed how easily it can adapt to any family trip. During the "Eurasian Tour with AITO" it was highly appreciated for the space and comfort it offers, featuring, among other things, "zero gravity" seats with massage function, which eliminate driver and passenger fatigue. It has been constructed using military-grade pressed steel, with 8 airbags as standard equipment and 5-layer thermal insulation for the battery, so as to offer total safety in all conditions.
The AITO 5 is a stylish mid-size sports SUV with a clean design and a very dynamic silhouette. Featuring a weight-constrained aluminium chassis, double wishbones in the front suspension and multiple links at the rear to deliver excellent handling. With 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5", the AITO 5 delivers impressive performance, and throughout the trip to Eastern Europe, those who drove it experienced thrilling moments behind the wheel. Of course, this model is also equipped with a comprehensive package of driver assistance systems, offering increased comfort and safety.
Advanced MF platform and leading production methods at Super Factory
All AITO models are based on the flexible and constantly evolving MF platform, which offers four key features: Intelligent safety systems, a variety of drive systems, adaptable cab space and high intelligence. It supports pure electric drive system (BEV), electric extended-range electric system (Super Range-extender EV) and hybrid (Ultra Hybrid). It is the only platform that is compatible with all three New Energy systems, offering an enjoyable, convenient and safe driving experience.
Taking advantage of the characteristics of the MF platform, the Super Range-extender technology achieves a thermodynamic efficiency of 45% and generates electricity from petrol with an efficiency of 3.65 kWh/lt. This technology adapts perfectly to all driving scenarios, ensuring all-electric city driving and unrestricted travel. The system's power is similar to that of a conventional 3.0T engine, so it offers the same performance with half the fuel consumption."
The driving experience corresponds to an all-electric vehicle, with a quiet cabin, smooth acceleration and immediate response to the driver's commands. In addition, the car can serve as a source of electricity, e.g. in camping. The energy generation on the move is adapted to the road conditions and the driver's habits in order to reduce "NVH" (noise, vibration and roughness) and to reduce consumption, in order to achieve optimum economy on each journey.
The exceptional quality of AITO vehicles is ensured by their advanced and ingenious construction. At the core of the production line is the core digital platform developed and patented by AITO, which leverages technology to interface production tools with the company's database. With more than 3,000 robots and 100% automating key processes, Super Factory achieves top efficiency by automotive industry standards, supporting flexible, transparent, automated, interconnected and intelligent manufacturing methods. AITO, the first company to use a 10,000-ton press, makes sure to produce top quality products in the most efficient and safe way.
As a leading smart electric car brand from China, AITO is a pioneer in New Energy Vehicles, introducing new concepts of luxury. By combining "traditional luxury" with "technological luxury", it delivers leading smart mobility experiences to drivers around the world. It is part of the SERES Group, which in Greece is represented by the Spanos Group. SERES Hellas in 2025, and then "high intelligence will redefine luxury" in our country as well.
