Jeep stars in this year's OFF ROAD Magazine Awards

Five Jeep models dominated the choices of the readers of the German magazine OFF ROAD, specialized in 4x4 and SUV vehicles

Just a week before celebrating his 80th birthdayα her birthday, the Jeep made an impressive presence at the OFF ROAD Magazine Awards 2021. Readers of the German 4×4 and SUV specialist magazine chose their favourite cars in 13 categories with a total of 251 models participating. Five Jeep models won a total of 7 awards.

Jeep Renegade named best "Compact SUV" for 7η consecutive year. Overall, the popular model won 12.7% of the votes, and it is particularly significant that the brand's first attempt in this category has consistently won the accolade since its first year on the market. The authentic Jeep design and the addition of the innovative 4xe Plug-in Hybrid technology were highly appreciated by OFF ROAD readers.

In the same category as the Renegade, the new Jeep Compass took 3rd place in theη position with 9.5% of votes, with readers appreciating the new design language brought by the model, particularly in the interior where high technology is combined with top quality and distinctive style.

The brand's most legendary model, the Wrangler, also earned accolades, with readers supporting it in the "Off-Roader" category (27.6% of votes) and in the "Alternative Drives" category, where the recent introduction of the 4xe version created the most powerful, efficient, environmentally friendly and off-road capable Wrangler in the model's history.

 

The Jeep Grand Cherokee with its current generation was named the best "Luxury Off-Road" import vehicle, while its new generation, which is also expected in the European market, was ranked 2nd in the "Luxury Off-Road" category.η place in the "Newcomer" category.

The announcement of the winner in the "Pick-up" category turned out to be a thriller, with the Jeep Gladiator finally taking 2nd place in the "Pick-up" category.η position with only 0.5% difference from the winner.

 

The OFF ROAD awards started in 1982, giving the readers of the German magazine the opportunity to choose their favourite models. This year more than 39,200 readers took part in the voting.
