Actress Margot Robbie and the race in Monaco

After her excellent... performance and the uplifting scenes that the famous Australian actress Margot Robbie offered us in the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street", she said she wanted to shake up Monaco. This time, however, with her playful driving style. as she is the new ambassador of Nissan's electric vehicle the BladeGlider. The brand's radical sports electric model turns into an adrenaline-inducing machine in her hands, taking a midnight race ride at the world-famous Monaco Grand Prix.

 

The Nissan BladeGlider prototype with a top speed of 190 km/h, which reaches 100 km/h in less than five seconds, was created to challenge conventional thinking about what an all-electric sports car could look like in the future. With an emphasis on the fun and excitement of an all-electric vehicle, this prototype is part of Nissan's Intelligent Mobility vision of how cars should be driven, powered and integrated into society.

In the video Margot Robbie sets the pace in the radical three-seater, driving around the tight corners of Monaco before racing another BladeGlider. The 272bhp sports car pair make their way through the signature tunnel and, in a thrilling plot twist, end up in the classy Casino Square.

In the film, the star of the hit movies "Suicide Squad" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" , demonstrates her daring driving skills in a Nissan BladeGlider on Fairmont, one of the most famous hairpin bends in the world of motorsports.

The Nissan BladeGlider will be at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show from 7 to 19 March 2017. Based on a prototype car that first debuted in 2013, this all-electric sports car is seen as a precursor to a host of future technologies, combining Intelligent Mobility, environmental friendliness and the exciting possibilities of driving a sports car.

Monte Carlo was the perfect location for Nissan to unveil its exciting new collaboration with Margot Robbie. Monaco has a rich heritage in road racing and an ambitious sustainable strategy to reduce carbon emissions by 50 per cent by 2030.
