From 30.713 euros the price of the Volvo XC40

It's probably the most anticipated Volvo model. The Swedish brand's small SUV, the XC40, has arrived in Greece and the order book is open, with prices starting from €30,713 for the version with the 1500 cc, 156 hp T3 engine. The first XC40 (the model with which Volvo is making a dynamic entry into the compact premium SUV segment) to set foot in Greece has been on display since last Saturday at Volvo's stand at the Golden Hall shopping centre in Maroussi.

Recommended retail prices for the XC40 start from €30,713 for the 1,500cc, 156bhp T3 petrol engine versions. This is followed by versions with the 150bhp two-litre D3 diesel engine, with prices starting at €35,194: available options include all-wheel drive (AWD) and the Geartronic 8-speed automatic transmission.

At the top of the XC40 range are the D4 diesel and T5 petrol versions, with 190 and 247 hp respectively. They are available exclusively with all-wheel drive (AWD), Geartronic 8-speed automatic transmission, in Momentum and R-Design trim levels, with prices starting from €49,352, for the D4 engine versions and from €50,177 for the petrol T5 versions.

The XC40 is Volvo's first model based on the new CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform and incorporates innovative technologies first introduced in the 60 and 90 Series, such as active power steering. Among the XC40's advanced safety features stand out:

- Latest generation City Safety frontal collision avoidance
- Diversion Avoidance from Run-Off Road Mitigation and
- Collision avoidance with oncoming vehicles Oncoming Lane Mitigation, which in critical conditions acts as an "electronic co-driver", providing valuable assistance to the driver.

Optional equipment on the Volvo XC40 includes:

- Adaptive Cruise Control with Pilot Assist semi-autonomous driving system, for the first time in the class, and
- IntelliSafe Surround, which combines BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), Rear Collision Warning and Cross Traffic Alert, for the first time with automatic braking.

With the XC40, Volvo's designers have attempted a radical break with the usual norms and the result is a compact SUV with a dynamic and youthful design, but also unprecedented functionality. Separate colours and a wide range of combinations (for example, the possibility of choosing a different colour for the roof) give buyers of the model the opportunity to express their personal style. Inside and in the luggage compartment, many intelligent storage solutions are offered, while Sensus, the information and entertainment system with its large vertical touchscreen, gives access to a range of functions in an intuitive way.

The D4 and T5 engines are introduced with full safety, information and entertainment equipment, both in the upgraded Momentum version and the dynamic R-Design with its sporty chassis, while a host of attractive equipment packages will satisfy every individual wish.
