YOKOHAMA : A rated on CDP's Climate Change List for 2020

 


  YOKOHAMA recognized once again as a leader
industry on corporate sustainability issues,  by the global environmental non-profit
CDP. In particular, on 8 December, the CDP classified the  YOKOHAMA in the coveted A class to address
climate change, recognising its efforts to reduce emissions,
mitigating climate risks and developing the low-carbon economy
of carbon, according to the company's responses to the climate change questionnaire.
CDP change for 2020, to which more than 5,800 companies responded
worldwide. This year is the third time YOKOHAMA has been included in the A list, after being selected in 2016 and 2019.

 

  CDP is a global non-profit organization that
pushes companies and governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
protect water resources and protect forests. Thanks to
leveraging investment and consumer resources, the organisation encourages companies to
disclose and manage their environmental impacts. The platform
CDP is one of the world's richest sources of information on the
how companies and governments are driving environmental change.

 

  YOKOHAMA's GD2020 medium-term plan has defined the
CSR activities as an important management strategy. Consequently, companies
of the Group strive to create value through business activities
carried out taking into account the global environment and social contribution.
