The IONIQ 5 N Hyundai is among the Top Three World Finalists for the award World Performance Car 2024.
The World Car Awards announced the world's top three finalists for this year's competition at a ceremony held during the Geneva International Motor Show. The World Car Awards is an annual event in which more than 100 international judges participate as they conduct Test Drives and vote for selected vehicles.
Hyundai Motor's nominations for this year's competition reflect the company's momentum on the global stage and continue the company's previous success at the World Car Awards, where Hyundai Motor's IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 were triple winners, taking the awards World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle and World Car Design of the Year 2022 and 2023 respectively.
The IONIQ 5 N, represents a new class of high performance electric (EV) vehicles with new technologies and high performance on-track features. It marks the first step in the N brand's electrification strategy. It combines Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) platform with the N brand's motorsport technologies and leverages N's expertise from its electric "Rolling Labs" maximizing the high performance potential of electric vehicles.
The final winners of the World Car Awards 2024 will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held on 27 March 2024 during the New York International Auto Show 2024 (NYIAS).
