The FIAT 500 is the new symbol of Dolcevita and the ideal vehicle for a very special flash mob organized by the CAM Sugar record company with SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) and the support of the Rome Film Festival.
The musicians of the Rome Symphony performed the flash mob "Buongiorno Dolce Vita" to honour Maestro Nino Rota, and chose the new all-electric 500 for this special action. Thirteen musicians arrived at the Fontana di Trevi where they suddenly revealed their musical instruments, offering a ten-minute musical feast to the astonished audience along with the melody "La Dolce Vita".
The Italian Dolce Vita lives again in Rome thanks to the new 500, a name inextricably linked to optimism. The link between the melody of Nino Rotta - created for Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita - and the new 500 is close, as is Amacord, Rota's composition used for the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) of the new 500.
