This adventurous and exciting aspect of the Ford Ranger Raptor was explored for another year by the members of Raptor Club Greece, organizing with great success from the 2nd to the 5th of November a unique excursion in Northern Greece. In this event and focusing on the beautiful town of Kastoria, more than 50 ready-to-go Ranger Raptors were present, along with their owners, friends and family members from all over Greece, who had the opportunity to see under ideal conditions in extreme off-road routes and tests the top capabilities of their cars.
With his unparalleled behaviour and performance in the context of the 4th Raptor Trophy, the Ford Ranger Raptor proved once again that this is a pick-up truck like no other you'll find today: tireless in its work yet explosive in performance, capable off-road and extremely enjoyable to drive in all conditions.
Ford Ranger Raptor: with the power of two advanced engines
The new Ford Ranger Raptor is powered by an advanced twin-turbo 3.0L EcoBoost petrol engine, which has been optimised by Ford Performance engineers to deliver a maximum power output of 292PS and 491Nm of torque. The V6 engine features, among other things, a highly compact cylinder block made from a compressed graphite-iron blend combined with a race-derived anti-lag system that allows for instant and on-demand power boost.
At the same time, the top pick-up in the Greek market is now available with yet another powertrain option, which draws power from Ford's highly efficient 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine, delivering 210PS.
