The Opel Astra holds its value

Bähr & Fess gives Astra the highest resale value in its class

Orders for the Opel Astra have reached 400,000 since the model was launched in 2015. Buyers of the compact Opel enjoy a technologically advanced and attractive car, which is complemented by a high resale value. In its latest forecasts, Bähr & Fess confirms that the Astra offers the highest resale value in its class. Losing only 41.5% of its value after three years (60,000 km), the Astra is two percentage points ahead of the VW Golf, which ranks second (depreciation of 43.5%). It is followed by the Audi A3 (44.5%), Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia (both at 46.5%) and the BMW 1 Series (47%).

"Our Astra is a 'serial' winner in comparative tests, has been honored with numerous awards and now dominates the top after a battle with strong rivals," said Peter Küspert, Vice President Sales & Aftersales. "The high resale value of the Astra confirms the excellent quality of our bestseller. Private customers and fleet managers can be sure that buying an Opel Astra is a good investment."
