The new Peugeot 308 Gti 270 CH is fast. You know it, you read it here. We could spend hours analysing whether it's an attractive hot hatch or a premium sports model. Or about how FAST the interior is and that weird dial with the "upside down" indicators. But, we wouldn't have said anything if we hadn't talked about its engine.
In Peugeot's first teaser, the "little lion" that comes to resemble something from the legendary 306 Maxi (sacrilege did I say that?) wears a "humble" 4 cylinder 1,600 THP engine. But how... small on the eye this engine is is not only proven by its performance (330Nm 0-100 torque in 6 seconds and top speed with electronic cut-off at 250) , but by how it roars. Listen to the terrible sound the new "hot Frenchman" makes...
