Ford Pro will make the global public debut of the all-new plug-in hybrid Ranger PHEV 1 at its stand as part of the company's presence at this year's IAA TRANSPORTATION trade show.
The first plug-in hybrid model in the pick-up class combines an electric motor with Ford's acclaimed 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine to deliver more torque than any other model in the Ranger family - all without compromising payload, towing capacity and off-road capabilities.
In addition to showcasing this all-new model on its stand, Ford Pro will be hosting key members of the new Ranger PHEV development programme, who will be available to answer questions:
- Rob Sharples, global chief programme engineer
- Kyle Shearer, European pickup segment chief
- James Cooper, European product manager
The Ford Pro stand at the IAA TRANSPORTATION commercial vehicle show will also host the latest and most electrified range of Transit family models, as well as an emerging Live Centre that will use connected vehicle data to increase uptime and customer productivity. There will also be timeslots available for interviews on request with them:
- Hans Schep, general manager, Ford Pro, Europe
- Jon Buttress, chief programme engineer, E-Transit Courier
- Dr. Christian Weingaertner, managing director, Ford in Germany, Austria, Switzerland

IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 will take place in Hanover, Germany, from 16 to 22 September. Ford Pro will be on stand D90, Hall 13. The press conference will take place on 16 September at 09:20 CET.
