Are you jealous of your friends with their four-wheel drive SUVs and snowmobiles who go up to the ski slopes and play in the snow while you, in your sedan, can't? Nissan, has you covered, with the Altima-te AWD. A vehicle that is truly all-terrain.
Nissan creates a "tradition" in snow, but also in... crawlers. Following the 370Zki and Rogue Warrrior, Nissan is equipping the Altima-te AWD, a unique sedan, with heavy-duty tracked wheels, making its world debut at the Montreal International Motor Show.
This is a sedan that looks like nothing Nissan has ever presented to us. In fact, it's a project that represents a new era in all-wheel drive (AWD) and an additional option for the Canadian prospective buyer.
Codenamed "Altima-te AWD", this unique vehicle is based on the new Nissan Altima AWD and continues Nissan's "custom" of creating aggressive, unique models equipped with a heavy-duty track system.
"It's not an Altima as we know it," says, describing the rather obvious, Joni Paiva, president of Nissan Canada Inc.
"For this year's model, we are redefining what this historic designation represents.
The Altima-te AWD joins other, unique snow-specific models like the Rogue Warrior in sending a clear message to the market: This Altima has the ability to move in the harshest weather conditions."
The Altima-te AWD will be shown, not coincidentally, in a place that always has... snow, at the Canadian Motor Show next February.
