Increased dimensions of the new MINI Cabrio compared to the previous model by 98 mm in length, 44 mm in width and 7 mm in height. Longer wheelbase (+ 28 mm), greater track width (+ 42 mm at the front, + 34 mm at the rear), optimised roominess in all four seats, new front seats with a wider range of adjustment, more comfortable entry and a larger seating surface for rear passengers, also a clear emphasis on the 'single-seater character' with optimised rear side support, luggage compartment volume increased by around 25% to 215 L with the roof closed and 160 L with the roof open. Standard equipment includes a split/folding rear seat backrest, an enlarged opening for cargo transport and an Easy Load function.
