The new, all-electric FIAT 500 has won another award, this time in Belgium by Le Moniteur Automobile magazine, bringing the total to 19 awards in Europe so far.

The magazine's readers particularly recognised the advanced character of the model, the multiple body options (hatchback, cabrio and 3+1) and the fact that its features make it an attractive and complete proposition in the electric vehicle segment.

The new award joins a long list of prestigious accolades, which includes the "Green Car" award at the French Automobile Awards 2020, as well as "Car of the Year and Best Small Electric Car" in Driving Electric's UK edition. At the same time, the model's distinctive, as well as ingenious, design has earned it the "Best Design 2020" award from the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport, as well as the "Best Design Concept" at the international Red Dot Design Awards.

The new FIAT 500 is built at the Mirafiori factory in Turin, which is a new ecosystem centred on the legendary model, the production plant and the original Casa 500 and La Pista 500 cultural facilities. A key element of the upgraded facility is the creation of the largest V2G "Vehicle-to-Grid" network in Europe, where the electric FIAT 500s contribute to the stability of the electricity grid and the maximum use of renewable energy sources. Alongside its ability to work with V2G networks, FIAT's innovative model has an integrated fast charger with a capacity of up to 85kW, a feature that allows it to charge in just 35 minutes on a suitable network and recover 50km of autonomy in just 5 minutes.

Since its launch almost a year ago, the new electric 500 has won 19 awards and is the most popular electric model in its class in 13 European countries, including Greece. In addition, with the recent commercial launch of the model in Israel and Brazil, the new 500 begins its journey to become a truly global all-electric vehicle.

In the Greek market, the all-electric 500 is available with two battery capacity levels (24kWh and 42kWh), three body styles (hatchback, cabrio and the innovative 3+1), while all versions are covered by a 5-year factory warranty with up to 200,000km and a corresponding roadside assistance service.

Prices for the model with the benefit of the state subsidy for the purchase of pure electric cars start at 22,477 euros.
