The Eunice Group, offering integrated and high technological value solutions in the field of e-mobility, partnered with the American technology giant Amazon web services for the development of the first chargers EEG-1S-22W electric vehicles on the island of Naxos, as part of the Naxos Smart Island project. significantly improve the quality of life of residents through the development of an Internet of Things (IoT) type circuit, and was carried out with the close cooperation of the Ministries of Digital Governance, Development, Shipping and Island Policy, the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Naxos.
The Eunice chargers attracted the interest of visitors, but also the institutional stakeholders who participated in the project presentation on 4-5 October. The installation of two chargers took place in the center of the island's Chora, in front of the Town Hall, in order to ensure the direct and easy access for vehicles residents and tourists. The group's innovative solutions ensure the optimal user experience and make charging electric vehicles an easy task, through a management platform that is completely user-friendly. Among other things, the project in Naxos is designed from the outset with the logic of the model, since the broader perspective of the project is the inclusion of many other Greek regions, island and non-island, in the Smart Island/Smart City category and so on.
The three-phase charger EEG-1S-22W is a purely Greek patent, while is manufactured in the Group's own facilities in Mandra, Attica, occupying an important position in the palette of Eunice's innovative products. This particular model complies with all applicable European directives and meets all CE marking requirements, ensuring high quality and low maintenance costs.
