Hyundai Motor is once again honoured at the Red Dot Awards with the prestigious title "Red Dot: Brand of the Year 2018", adding to the five awards it has already won previously in Design Communication for 2018 for the creative and innovative design of its products.
The Red Dot Awards are one of the most prestigious international design institutions in the world and the "Red Dot: Brand of the Year" award is given to the brand that has created innovative and creative design at a particularly high level. This year, Hyundai's innovative design creations, design quality and brand management experience were taken into account.

This award is a validation that we are on the right track and is an impressive milestone for our brand image," said Mr. Wonhong Cho, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Hyundai Motor Company. "This should encourage us to push harder to move forward with more creative and innovative design in the future so that our brand can truly be loved by everyone."
The official award ceremony will take place on 26 October in Berlin, Germany.

In August, Hyundai Motor set a historic record for Red Dot awards in the company's history, winning four Red Dots and three "Red Dot: Best of the Best" awards. The company won awards for Solati Moving Hotel, Hyundai Pavilion, Genesis Gangnam, Genesis Sound Design, Pioneer Film and Safety Hologram in their respective categories, including Retail Design, Sound Design, Spatial Communication, Film & Animation and Interface & User Experience Design
