New Ducato in Great Britain Fiat Professional dominated the What Van? competition, the most important distinction in the country, winning the Van of The Year title and the individual categories in the large Van and Minibus categories, where the all-electric E-Ducato Minibus impressed with its features.
The judges highlighted the impressive level of technology in the new Ducato, which is the first light commercial vehicle available with Level 2 autonomous driving, thanks to the extensive use of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which dramatically increase the levels of safety and comfort offered by the model. The systems include, among others, active speed and heading maintenance, automatic braking and a traffic sign recognition system. The technological background is equally impressive in terms of connectivity and multimedia systems, with the new Ducato benefiting from the high capabilities of the Uconnect system.
Mr James Dallas, Director of What Van? commented: "The Fiat Professional Ducato continues to stand out thanks to its advanced technology and Level 2 autonomous driving capability, the new manual transmission and the excellent 9-speed automatic transmission. The new Ducato is pleasant to drive, practical, extremely efficient and the ideal antidote to other proposals that simply differ in their branding."
The new Fiat Professional Ducato is also available in the Greek market in a number of versions and body styles with thermal engines or with an all-electric option. All versions are covered by a 5-year factory warranty up to 200,000km and a correspondingly strong roadside assistance service. In particular, the all-electric E-Ducato comes with a free 5-year basic maintenance programme, while the other versions are also available with an interest-free financing programme.
