Some time ago, TopSpeed.gr revealed that the Dodge is preparing a "swollen" version of the Challenger SRT Hellcat. In the US, the name of this beast has been revealed, along with the logo (yes, it's the one you see!) and some -minimal- details of what it will be.
And the name of that will be Challenger SRT Demon. Dodge decided to give this name to the faster (!!!!) Challenger, which, according to reports, will be, like a good old musclecar, focused on acceleration.
Beyond the "bloating" on the wings, although much is being heard in the US about the motor (it will of course be the Hellcat engine) and the fact that the performance will range from... 666 to 808 horsepower, most likely, our sources say, is that he will have the same horsepower as the Hellcat: That is, 707 horsepower. Then what would make it faster?

The difference with the "normal" Hellcat, which wears Pirelli P Zero Nero 275 mm on all four corners, is simply gigantic. The same sources point out that the company is geared towards the (proven) solution of outgoing Viper, wearing the amazing Kumho Ecsta V720. No more burnouts. Now that the Demon will have traction, we'll see starts...
