YOKOHAMA has created a new series of short films starring players from the famous Premier League football team Chelsea. The whole project consists of five short films with five themes respectively: POWER, POWER, POWER, TRUST, TRUST, RESILIENCE and INNOVATION. Each of these sections 'links' the skills of a Chelsea player with the high quality and performance characteristics of YOKOHAMA tyres. The theme of the first short film "deals" with strength and therefore, the most suitable for this purpose is the striker Diego Costa, the key player for Chelsea, who manages to "break down" the opponents' defence.
This film presents YOKOHAMA's "GEOLANDAR" SUV tyres that offer excellent rolling quality on any surface. The theme of the second film is speed, which is "represented" by Willian, a Chelsea midfielder, and the high-performance "ADVAN" tyre, which is also YOKOHAMA's "flagship".
With the aim of strengthening its corporate image and the recognition of its brand on a global scale, YOKOHAMA has signed a cooperation agreement with Chelsea since July 2015. It is worth noting that Chelsea are currently top of the Premier League standings for the 2016/17 season.
