The Sfakianakis Group announced the start of sales in the Greek market of BYD passenger cars, the world's leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles. The event took place on March 20, at the imposing Zappeion, while guests of honour had the opportunity to see first hand a range of exciting electric cars.
At the same time, it marked another milestone for BYD in Europe, marking its first launch in 2024, as the brand continues to offer innovative and affordable eco-solutions to European consumers.
BYD (Build Your Dreams), known worldwide for its pioneering expertise in power battery development and innovation in environmentally friendly technologies for a more sustainable future, with a vision to reduce the Earth's temperature by 1°C (''Cool the Earth by 1°C''), makes available to the Greek public its wide range of electric and Plug-In Hybrid cars, equipped with advanced technology, attractive design and superior active and passive safety.
The first two BYD models to be distributed in Greece by the Sfakianakis Group are the compact BYD ATTO 3 (C-SUV) and the luxury BYD SEAL (D-Sedan), followed by the BYD DOLPHIN (C-Hatchback) and the BYD SEAL U (D-SUV), which will be available in both a pure electric (BEV) and a Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) version.
Their unveiling took place at an event at the Zappeion Hall, a place of great symbolism and historical value for Greece. This important moment for the Sfakianakis Group was honoured by the presence of personalities from the political, journalistic and business world, as well as top executives from BYD Europe.
During the presentation, the journalist and Master of Ceremony, Mrs. Evi Fragaki welcomed the guests and spoke about the sustainability strategy of BYD and the Sfakianakis Group. Then, the President and CEO of Sfakianakis Group, Mr. Stavros P. Takis, presented the Group's strategy and the vision of the next day, while unveiling the new corporate identity of the Group, which marks the next chapter of a long and dynamic course.

BYD models benefit from the innovative battery technology, Blade Battery which revolutionizes the areas of safety, durability and performance.
