With the BMW M235i Racing, BMW M240i Racing and BMW M2 CS Racing, affordable and technically sophisticated entry-level racing cars are a tradition at BMW M Motorsport, serving as the perfect stepping stone to the higher GT4 and GT3 classes. Currently, BMW M Motorsport engineers are working on the development of a new car that will complete its portfolio of customer racing propositions as an entry-level motorsport model. Further details on the new entry-level model from BMW M Motorsport will be announced at a later date.
Björn Lellmann, Head of Customer Racing at BMW M Motorsports: "Being there for our customers is one of the key issues we strive for at BMW M Motorsport. From our perspective, this also includes providing a car for the smaller classes that teams and newcomers to racing can support financially while offering them the highest level of BMW M Motorsport technology. As such, we are now delighted to announce a model that will succeed the BMW M235i Racing, BMW M240i Racing and BMW M2 CS Racing. Our engineers are already working intensively at this early stage of development to optimally prepare the car for customer use."
