Η Bentley Motors consolidated its central facilities in the Crewe, in
Great Britain, on a single site of hundreds of acres. The
important event was celebrated with a parade of new and historic models of the
brand, in the historic Pyms Lane. This is the road that for years - since 1938
that the brand was transferred to Crewe - crossed the complex of buildings of the Bentley and now closed in
traffic, as well as the neighbouring Sunnybank Road, both being part of the consolidated
facilities. Certainly a symbolic gesture of great importance, as the Pyms Lane viewed at
an integral part of its history Bentleywhich they recognized
the local municipal authorities of Cheshire East Council, giving its approval.
The new
facilities accommodate around 4,000 employees of the Bentley, a number that is expected to increase, as soon
two new buildings are completed, for R&D and mechanical testing.
The new
consolidated facilities are part of the "BEYOND100" of
Bentley, to become the leader in sustainable luxury
mobility. This strategy includes the evolution of the range so that the Bentley from 2026 to offer
exclusively hybrid or electric vehicles and from 2030 only pure electric vehicles
Vehicles.
The new
the consolidated premises of the Bentley is not just a step towards
the future of the brand. For some time now the Bentley Motors, having
awareness of the company's responsibility for environmental, social and environmental impacts
economic impact of its operation, has transformed the 80-year-old headquarters
of the Crewe, in the first luxury car factory with neutral
carbon footprint in the UK.
